Volunteer Coordinator

Sue is an architectural professional progressing through the Internship in Architecture Program in Ontario. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Postgraduate degree in Construction Project Management, bringing an international educational background and professional experience to architectural practice in Ontario. Her professional experience includes over three years with MMMC Architects, where she worked on Long-Term Care projects, as well as early-career experience with international architectural firms. Sue has also worked within integrated design-build environments in Ontario, gaining exposure to architectural practice that bridges design intent with construction execution, coordination, and delivery.

As a Volunteer Coordinator with Building Equality in Architecture Toronto (BEAT), Sue supports the organization’s advocacy for equity, inclusion, and representation within the architectural profession. She manages volunteer communications and records, coordinates participation for events, and helps create accessible, well-organized opportunities for community engagement. Informed by both professional practice and lived experience, Sue is committed to strengthening collective voices and contributing to a more equitable and supportive architectural community.
